Toys for the North

Every holiday season, thousands of Canadian children in the country’s most remote and often poorest communities have few, if any, new toys to unwrap under the tree.

Through the Toys for the North Campaign, CTA Members have made the holiday season brighter by distributing over $265,000 worth of toys to children in Northern parts of Labrador, Manitoba, Nunavut and Ontario.

The collected toys are sorted and wrapped by RCMP and Toy Industry volunteers. This is a great opportunity to engage your staff and bring a smile to a child in need. The toys are loaded onto a transport trailer truck where they make their way to Trenton Canadian Forces Base. From there they will make their way to the North.
